About NEXDAO

NEXDAO, born in Yangjiang, the capital of knives and scissors in China, is a combination of the English word “NEXT” as a prefix and the Chinese Pinyin “DAO” (meaning knife). It signifies the concept of the next knife, where the best is always the next one, reflecting NEXDAO’s pursuit of higher quality. Additionally, the pronunciation of this combination of words in the Yangjiang dialect carries the meaning of playing with knives, representing NEXDAO’s product design philosophy – creating knives that users love.

How To Use A Knife

Clean the knife with alcohol or warm soapy water then rinse before using the knife. Ensure post-use cleaning and lubrication.

Tailored for various applications, special knives serve cutting and scratching purposes. Misuse such as throwing, pounding, prying, chopping, or similar actions can compromise safety and void the warranty. Avoid strong impacts or twisting forces, as they may damage the knife or its lock mechanism, leading to potential injury. Verify the locking mechanism for locked-blade knives before use. Maintaining a sharp blade reduces injury risks, so prioritize blade sharpness. Keep the knife clean and dry after usage.

Maintenance And Storage

The blades, crafted from premium stainless steel, exhibit excellent rust resistance. In the rare event of rust, promptly remove it, along with surface oxidation, tarnish, or residues, and apply a protective coating. Handle care varies: natural wood benefits from occasional oil rubbing, metal handles require regular cleaning and drying, while plastic handles need minimal care. For knives with a sheath, clean it with leather soap, avoiding oil to preserve its molded shape.

If your knife won’t be used for an extended period, remove it from the sheath to prevent potential staining from leather acids. Optimal storage options include using a display case or wrapping it with a soft cloth. Always keep in mind that the knives are extremely sharp, keep away from children for safety.
